Rosemary IPA Released in Time for Holidays

On November 9th, we will release our seasonally produced Rosemary IPA -- an 6.4% ABV IPA brewed with locally-sourced rosemary and a myriad of citrus and herbal hops. For the fourth consecutive year, we are releasing this beer in November to coincide with Thanksgiving and the onset of the holiday season.

Our Rosemary IPA recipe was developed long before the brewery existed. Our then an impassioned home brewer owner, Tim, wanted to create a beer to complement the flavors of the holiday season. He drew inspiration from the taste profile of his infamous lemon, rosemary, and thyme smoked Thanksgiving turkey to accomplish this goal.

“I brew this beer every year because I like to drink it with Thanksgiving dinner,” Weber laughs. “But other people fell in love with it as well and it became a tradition. I now make it [yearly] not only for visitors to the taproom, but for our annual Thanksgiving dinner that I host at my house for brewery employees, friends and family.”

Twin Leaf Rosemary IPA is crafted with three pounds of fresh rosemary sourced from Barnardsville’s Rayburn Farms. It marries base malt with a touch of Munich malt and post fermentation is dry-hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe and Sorachi Ace. The citrus flavors of the Sorachi Ace cut through an otherwise overwhelming herbaceous flavor of rosemary.

Starting at 2pm on Friday, our Rosemary IPA will be available for purchase in 500ml bottles and on draft. For a limited time, bottles will also be found in a number of local bottle shops, restaurants, and retailers in the surrounding area.
