Location, location, location

We are intensely excited to announce our brewery’s future home… Twin Leaf will be located at 144 Coxe Ave, right on the corner of Coxe and Banks in the South Slope neighborhood of downtown Asheville!

144 Coxe

We just entered into a formal agreement with the owner of the building, and we couldn’t be happier! We’ll be leasing a 5,000 sq ft space that will make a beautiful home for our brewery and taproom.

The brewhouse will occupy about 1,800 sq ft of the building, including our brewing system, tanks, cold storage, yeast lab, plus room to spare. The remainder of the space will house the taproom, which will feature a kick-ass bar, plenty of seating, and a stage for live music. Additionally, we’ll have an area for outdoor seating on the north side of the building, so we can all breathe in that beautiful mountain air.

The building, which used to be a photography studio, is utterly fantastic. We love the huge wall of windows on the south side of the building, where our shiny 10 bbl system will sit for all to see. The interior features 20 ft ceilings with these incredible trusses. This place is practically begging for a brewery!

We love this part of town. It’s more spread out and open than the rest of downtown, with a little more of a laid back feel. It’s easy to get around and park, and it’s within walking distance of all the other cool stuff going on in town. And it’s really the last section of downtown that’s left to be developed.

Seems as though we’re not the only ones who have seen the potential of this section of downtown. The South Slope has been getting a lot of attention lately, with a handful of businesses announcing new locations in the neighborhood in recent weeks. We’re excited to soon be a part of this growing district!

I can’t believe how lucky we were to find this space. For us, it was love at first sight. We can’t wait to share it with all you wonderful Asheville beer drinkers. Cheers!

    Hello,

My name is Aaron and I live in West Asheville. I am a big craft beer advocate and also do a handful of beer festivals in NC and TN. I wanted to see if you may be around on Friday so I could swing by and introduce myself. Have a great one

I’m thrilled that South Slope is becoming a brew pub district! I live just a few blocks away so when friends come into town I can take them on a walking brewery tour! Welcome to the neighborhood Twin Leaf!
